Event organized by Shimadzu Italia.
The Italian subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, Shimadzu Italia offers a wide range of analytical instruments essential for research, development, and quality control across various sectors, including food, environmental, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, clinical, chemical, and petrochemical.
Founded in 1991, it has become a benchmark in the chemical analysis sector in Italy over the years, thanks to continuous technological innovation that enables it to provide cutting-edge instrumentation to meet market needs and demands. Its comprehensive portfolio includes liquid chromatographs (HPLC, LC, UHPLC) and gas chromatographs (GC), mass spectrometers (single and triple quadrupole LCMS and GCMS), LCMS-Q-TOF, a complete line of MALDI-TOF systems, UV-Vis and infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometers, and elemental analyzers (TOC, AAS, ICP, EDX).
Session Overview
Innovation in the field of gas chromatography and mass spectrometry requires an approach that combines technological evolution, concrete applications, and new strategic collaborations.
This session will present Shimadzu's latest advances in GC and GCMS instrumentation, focusing on the new GC-2060 and the next generation of triple quadrupole systems, the TQ8040 RX and TQ8050 RX—designed to deliver high performance, operational robustness, and maximum reliability for the most complex analytical applications.
Building on these new technologies, the focus will shift to the innovative analytical solutions available to laboratories today. In particular, we will illustrate the advantages of using hydrogen as a carrier gas in mass spectrometry using the QP2050 single quadrupole system, showcasing application results that demonstrate its effectiveness in terms of sustainability, productivity, and data quality.
Finally, we will highlight the value of strategic synergies through our partnership with D.T.O., aimed at expanding application opportunities and providing laboratories with fully integrated, market-driven solutions.
This session illustrates how technology, applications, and strategic partnerships can transform innovation into tangible value for the modern laboratory.
